Hi! I’m Sergey Terentyev, CEO of TESET Studio and founder and owner of the CROOT brand. Entrepreneur. Engineer. Inventor.

You could say I simply own and run the companies and the brand — and, in a way, that’s true. But I also make time to create, write and dream up alien worlds, which brings me enormous joy. I don’t think I’ve ever read as many children’s books as I did while working on the stories about our cheerful robot, CROOT. Creating our very own universe with Olga was especially exciting! So if you ever need a universe of your own, get in touch — we have experience!

Hello, everyone! I’m Victoria Salnikova, co-founder of the CROOT brand and head of the company of the same name.

Despite the grand-sounding title, I am closely involved in production and take an active part in developing and promoting the brand. Under my careful supervision, we create collections of children’s clothing that are as comfortable as they are cool. Quality fabrics and excellent workmanship matter most to me, so I personally choose our fabrics and trims and check the finished garments myself.

To help our customers receive their orders quickly, I oversee deliveries of our products to marketplace warehouses. You can currently find us on three platforms: Wildberries, Ozon and Yandex Market. I love hearing from our customers. I share their delight when a purchase exceeds their expectations, and I’m there to help if something goes wrong.

Hi! I’m Olga, and I didn’t just write four books for the “CROOT the Robot — the Great Builder” series. I created an entire universe filled with clever, kind and utterly charming robots!

I used to make soft toys — more than a thousand of my bunnies and bears are still bringing joy to little ones. Today, I’m a children’s author with dozens of published books. Making toys taught me to pay attention to detail and to put warmth into every story I write for children.

For me, CROOT was more than an adventure — it was a real challenge! And, in my humble opinion, it turned out wonderfully!

I hope this story captures your imagination just as it once captured mine. Enjoy getting to know the characters!

Hello, everyone! I’m Anastasia Lozinskaya, a children’s author, lawyer, television journalist, screenwriter and host of original programmes and news broadcasts.

I won the Prose category in the competition at the 2025 “At the Crossroads of Cultures, Languages and Traditions” Literary Summit. I am also a laureate of the “Once Upon a Time…” category at the Third All-Russian Literary Carousel Festival and Competition, and a winner of the anniversary poetry competition “Russia — My Homeland!”.

My books include “A Supernatural Detective Story: Fear upon Fear” and “Too Late to Be Afraid” (co-written with L. Nazarova). My work also appears in Prochitano, an online library of contemporary short stories.

In my free time, I play the guitar, draw and run creative workshops for children and adults. I also practise Pilates, tennis, hand-to-hand combat and sabre spinning.

Connecting with people + work I love + creativity + sport = my formula for happiness. ✨

I love creating literary worlds, especially for children. In our poetry series, for example, CROOT the Robot helps young readers discover planet Earth and its inhabitants, learn about friendship and care for the environment.

My name is Viktor, and I’m a graphic designer. My work brings together visual art, character design and print.

For the “CROOT the Robot — the Great Builder” series, I worked on the design, layout and overall visual style. Sergey and I developed the look of the robots in this universe — their appearance, proportions and body details — and I brought them to life in drawings. We took the same approach to the vehicles: we imagined the different types together, and I turned those ideas into graphics. The vehicles ended up looking almost real, with designs that follow the laws of physics and mechanics!

I also worked on prints, brand graphics and the overall design, as well as developing and creating logos. I enjoy combining a contemporary aesthetic with attention to detail and a strong visual idea.

I work with both digital graphics and printed materials, creating complex layouts, preparing artwork and shaping the visual design. To me, design is more than appearance: it is a way to tell a story, express personality and create a recognisable style.

What matters to me is creating entire worlds that stir emotions and stay with people. I hope our world of robots becomes one you remember and love!

Hi! I’m Violetta, a children’s illustrator. I illustrated the “CROOT the Robot — the Great Builder” book series. For me, it was a long and heartwarming journey with the CROOT team.

In my illustrations, I love conveying the characters’ moods and emotions and adding intriguing details to their surroundings. In my free time, I usually read fantasy, go for walks and visit museums and exhibitions.
